Description We are in search of a Medical Receptionist to join our team located in Modesto, California. The function of this role involves managing front office operations within the healthcare industry, serving as the initial point of contact for patients. This opportunity offers a short term contract employment.

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate patient inquiries and concerns, both in person and via phone, providing responsive and courteous service.

• Efficiently schedule, coordinate, and verify patient appointments, surgeries, and medical consultations.

• Accurately document and file medical records along with insurance reports.

• Manage billing processes and collection of payments.

• Oversee administrative tasks like data entry, inventory control, and maintenance of office equipment.

• Safeguard patient confidentiality by securing protected health information.

• Collaborate with our medical team to ensure quality service delivery to patients.

• Handle patient queries about appointments, prescriptions, and referrals promptly and accurately.

• Use healthcare software systems like Allscripts, Cerner Technologies, Dentrix Dental Software, Eaglesoft, EHR SYSTEM for various tasks.

• Employ EMR (Electronic Medical Records) for checking patients, answering inbound calls, and handling billing functions. Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Medical Receptionist

• Proficient in using Allscripts software

• Experience with Cerner Technologies

• Skilled in using Dentrix Dental Software

• Familiarity with Eaglesoft software

• Comfortable with EHR SYSTEM

• Ability to answer and manage inbound calls

• Experience with billing functions in a medical setting

• Capability to create and interpret charts and graphs

• Experience in checking patients in and out of appointments

• Proficient in using EMR (Electronic Medical Records)

• Thorough knowledge of EMR - Electronic Medical Records
