Basic Job Functions:

Nucor Warehouse Systems is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Specialist-Project Manager. The responsibilities for this role include, and are not limited to, managing the day-to-day operational aspects of industrial racking projects and scope, creating, and executing project work plans and revising as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements, perform estimates and review proposals. A Specialist Project Manager will need to possess advanced experience specific to Automated Material Handling Systems such as (ASRS, Rack Supported Buildings, Conveyor, etc.) with the ability to complete basic mathematical calculations, effectively communicate with customers and end users, and apply our methodology and enforce project standards.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 5-7 years experience in the Racking/ Supply Chain industry or Commercial/Industrial construction with 3-5 of those years being specific to Automated Material Handling Systems

• Experience using Design Software such as AutoCAD.

• Ability to read and understand construction and fabrication drawings.

• Verbal and written English fluency.

• Ability to travel domestically in a variable range of 30-60%

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in business, design, construction management or comparable experience

• PMP Certification; or relatable project management certifications
