Robert Half Quality Control Clerk in Monroe, North Carolina

Description

We are offering a contract for a permanent position as a Quality Control Analyst in Monroe, North Carolina. In this role, you will be expected to support the quality assurance team within a fast-paced environment, interact with various departments, and stay up-to-date with industry best practices.

Responsibilities:

• Guide the Food Safety and HACCP strategy, ensuring compliance and effectiveness.

• Foster regular interaction with production, sales, R& D, commercial, suppliers, and customers to ensure quality standards are met.

• Act as the quality assurance representative during visits to suppliers and customers as necessary.

• Stay abreast of food safety best practices and industry trends to maintain a high level of expertise.

• Utilize statistical analysis for data collection to assist in troubleshooting and verifying safe quality food.

• Collaborate with Production Manager to foster a strong quality culture on the plant floor.

• Regularly assess the Quality Management System in preparation for internal and external audits.

• Pursue continuous improvement of products, processes, workflows, and self-development.

• Coordinate with R& D and Lab personnel to ensure the availability and maintenance of proper tools and calibrated measuring equipment.

• Review and ensure the accuracy and relevance of SOP’s and Work Instructions.

• Schedule meetings to collect information from all stakeholders relevant to the Quality Management System.

• Provide valuable input in weekly management meetings and assume a leadership role at the facility to enhance teamwork, relationships, and performance.

• Manage the response and resolution of non-conformances with appropriate action.

Requirements

• Proficient in Accounting Software Systems

• Familiar with ADP - Financial Services

• Experience with BlackLine

• Skilled in using Concur

• Knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning

• Proficient in Shipping and Receiving

• Strong skills in Auditing

• Understanding of Billing Function
