We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Dental Assistant to join our implant center. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of dental instruments and procedures and will assist our dentists in both surgical and restorative treatments. This role requires adherence to OSHA, HIPAA, and CDC guidelines, and involves significant patient interaction, inventory management, and lab work.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist dentists during a variety of treatment procedures including implant surgeries and restorative dental care.

  • Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of dental instruments and ensure their proper use and maintenance.

  • Manage inventory control in the operatories, ensuring all necessary supplies are stocked and organized.

  • Strictly adhere to OSHA, HIPAA, and CDC guidelines to maintain a safe and compliant working environment.

  • Deliver exceptional patient interactions, including scheduling appointments, providing follow-up treatment information, post-surgical care instructions, and maintaining accurate records.

  • Perform basic lab procedures, such as taking impressions, pouring models, and preparing cases for external labs.

  • Ensure the cleanliness and orderliness of public areas and treatment rooms.

  • Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned to support the smooth operation of the center.

    Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Applicable licensing required for the state in which you will work:

  • For NJ - Dental Radiologic Technologist (DRT) license or willing to pursue licensure immediately required.

  • Certified Dental Assistant or Registered Dental Assistant preferred.

  • Proven experience as a Dental Assistant, preferably with a focus on implants and restorative dentistry. 1+ years preferred.

  • Strong understanding of dental instruments and procedures.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Ability to perform basic lab procedures and manage inventory effectively.

  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care and office cleanliness.

  • Ability to work well in a team environment and adapt to various duties as needed.

  • Requires some flexibility in scheduling, such as the ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
