Shee Atika Government Services ANR - Subcontract Administrator in Montgomery, Alabama

Job Type Full-time Description

Alaska Northstar Resources (ANR) is currently seeking a Subcontract Administrator to join our growing organization.

The Subcontract Administrator will work closely with and report to the Contracts Manager and will be expected to interact and work daily with ANRs Subcontractors, partners, vendors, ANR Operations Team, and Senior Management.

The ideal candidate for this role must be able to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, be agile and flexible, and provide support to multiple internal and external clients simultaneously to achieve desired results.

Duties and responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Providing support and acting as a central focal point for all subcontract related correspondence, implementation, development, and other subcontract related processes within ANR to both internal and external customers.
  • Drafting, reviewing, processing, and helping to negotiate terms and conditions for Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), Teaming Agreements (TAs), Subcontract Agreements (SubKs), Consultant Agreements (CAs), Vendor Purchase Orders (POs), and all corresponding modifications to the agreements accordingly.
  • Engaging with subcontractors and vendors in subcontract language negotiation in a positive and productive manner with the goals of protecting the companys interests and minimizing risk, while moving the subcontract forward.
  • Managing, administering, monitoring, and controlling the subcontractor to ensure compliance with all subcontract requirements, i.e., price, schedule, and technical aspects, in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Report all subcontractor-related issues accurately and promptly to ANR Operations and Senior Management, including recommended solutions to any problems identified.
  • Distributing and acting upon all subcontractor inquiries and/or issues. Ensuring that all subcontractor issues are fully understood and communicated to internal ANR Operations and Senior Management.
  • Assisting with preparing Purchase Orders (POs) and PO modifications in ANRs Subcontractor Portal management via the Unanet ERP system.
  • Performing other duties at the direction of the Contracts Manager.
  • Assisting with Purchase Order Portal management via the Unanet ERP system.

Requirements

  • Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a common access card (CAC)
  • Candidate must have a bachelor's degree OR 10+ years of directly related experience in lieu of degree.

Candidate must have 3+ years' experience with the following:

  • Working directly with government subcontracts of a varying type (FFP, CPFF, TandM, LH, etc)
  • Positive attitude with excellent digital and analog communication skills
  • Organizational skills
  • Working in a dispersed team
  • Using digital collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams and SharePoint
  • Working in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic understanding of FAR, DFARS, and other applicable guidelines
  • Creating and negotiating subcontract language

Desired Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Experience developing creative negotiation alternatives when dealing with large commercial companies
  • Experience working for an 8(a) company and the direct award process
  • Experience with Unanet ERP and/or CRM

Work Environment

Office environment. Requires ability to provide clear, concise, accurate and timely communication, both verbally and in writing (100%). Requires ability to interact professionally with co-workers, management, and client (100%). Occasional business travel may be required. Only requested and approved expenses will be covered by ANR.

The pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.

Salary Description $100,000 - $110,000 yearly
