The ideal person will have extensive experience planning, | | directing, or coordinating activities concerned with self-performance | | or subcontracting various civil construction projects. You will | | participate in the conceptual development of a construction project | | and oversee its organization, scheduling, budgeting, and | | implementation. Includes managers in specialized construction fields, | | such earth moving, concrete, etc. | | | | Key Responsibilities: | | | | - Support the planning, direction, or coordination of activities | | concerned with self-performance or subcontracting various civil | | construction projects. | | - Assist in the conceptual development of construction projects and | | support their organization, scheduling, budgeting, and | | implementation. | | - Ensure efficient organization, scheduling, and budgeting of | | projects for optimal resource utilization. | | - Assist in overseeing and guiding civil personnel in executing | | various tasks, such as demolition, grading, drainage, concrete | | work, and asphalt paving. | | - Conduct regular inspections to monitor compliance with building | | codes, safety regulations, and project specifications. | | - Assist in managing and maintaining heavy equipment, jobsite | | layout, and grade establishment. | | - Support monitoring project schedules and budgets, taking | | proactive measures to address any deviations. | | - Collaborate with supervisory personnel, contractors, and design | | professionals to resolve construction issues and ensure project | | success. | | - Assist in recruiting, hiring, training, and mentoring employees | | to maintain a skilled and motivated workforce. | | - Support in conducting performance evaluations, providing | | feedback, and administering rewards or disciplinary actions as | | required. | | - Required: | | - Construction: 3 years | | - In-depth knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction | | methods, and materials. | | - Strong project management skills, with the ability to organize | | and prioritize tasks effectively. | | - Excellent leadership and communication skills to guide and | | motivate construction teams. | | - Thorough understanding of building codes, safety regulations, and | | industry standards. | | - Proficient in using construction management software and tools. | | - Education: | | - Bachelor's Degree preferred. | | - High School Diploma required. | | - Work Environment: | | - Exposed to Contaminants | | - Exposed to Whole Body Vibration | | - Extremely Bright or Inadequate Lighting | | - Sounds, Noise Levels Are Distracting or Uncomfortable | | - Very Hot or Cold Temperatures | | - Benefits: | | - Medical | | - Dental | | - Vision | | - 401k | +-----------------------------------------------------------------------+
