Teradata Senior Product Manager in Montgomery, Alabama

What You'll Do

Your work will have a significant impact on Teradata’s strategic offerings, helping drive business success and deliver exceptional value to our customers. Success in this role includes the timely delivery of innovative features, seamless cross-functional collaboration, and enhanced customer adoption of Vantage.

  • Lead product management efforts for Teradata’s flagship cloud offering, Vantage , ensuring its alignment with strategic business objectives.

  • Drive the development of new capabilities, features, and services tailored to specific industry segments.

  • Translate customer and market requirements into actionable product requirements for engineering teams, ensuring timely, high-quality, and budget-conscious delivery.

  • Develop detailed business requirements and user stories to create robust product specifications and architectures.

  • Create and deliver sales training for direct and partner sales teams, as well as technical support and professional services teams.

  • Collaborate closely with key stakeholders, including Product Marketing, Support, Professional Services, Sales, and Operations, to define go-to-market strategies and create impactful product collateral such as product descriptions, presentations, and technical white papers.

  • Play a critical role in the Strategic Offer Management team, ensuring our offerings are competitive and aligned with market demands.

Who You'll Work With

This position reports to the Director of Product Management for Cloud Database Solutions.

What Makes You a Qualified Candidate

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

  • Demonstrated experience in cloud service providers and software offerings, including on-premises vs. cloud solutions.

  • Strong background in data warehousing, data analytics, business intelligence, or product management.

  • Proven critical thinking skills, with the ability to research, validate hypotheses, and influence strategic direction.

What You'll Bring

  • Knowledge of product strategy frameworks such as diffusion modeling and Porter’s Five Forces.

  • Exceptional negotiation and conflict resolution skills.

  • Outstanding communication abilities, including oral, written, and presentation skills.

  • A detail-oriented and analytical mindset, coupled with creativity and adaptability.

  • Experience delivering cross-functional training or building enablement resources is a plus.

Pay Rate: $108,600.00 - $135,700.00 - $163,000.00 Annually

Pay Rate: 108600.0000 - 135700.0000 - 163,000.00 Annually
