National Institutes of Health Wellness Program Coordinator in Montgomery County, Maryland

For more information, visit http://www.ors.od.nih.gov. Responsibilities Monitors approved contractual agreements and contractor activities with the Program Manager. Assist Program Manager in monitoring program budget and assuring appropriate expenditure of funds with detailed record keeping and reporting. Participates in the preparation of reports, plans, and other documents using information generated from various databases. Provides content support to the DATS Wellness website and for the NIH Wellness Listserv. Assists with providing leadership to the Wellness Program Committee in assessing, developing, and establishing measurable objectives. Recommends appropriate changes in existing policies, methods, procedures, and practices designed to enhance the quality, effectiveness, and responsiveness of the services provided. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications In order to qualify for a Program Specialist, GS-0301 position at the GS-11 level, you must: A. completed a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree, or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or an LL.M., if related; OR B. 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-09 level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector, performing the following types of tasks: administering wellness programs for an organization; participating administering contracts for the provision of wellness programs and services; preparing reports and other written materials on wellness programs; and coordinating with management officials, program staff, and customers in administering wellness programs. OR C. a combination of post baccalaureate education related to the position and experience that meets 100% of the qualification requirements for this position. In order to qualify for the GS-12 level, you must meet the following requirements: You must demonstrate in your resume at least one (1) year of qualifying experience equivalent to at least the GS-11 level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector, performing the following types of tasks: managing wellness programs for an organization; administering contracts for the provision of wellness programs and services; preparing reports and other written communications on wellness programs; and coordinating wellness programs with management officials, program staff, and customers.
