Behind the Design Installation/Sales Technician in Doylestown, Pennsylvania

Join Our Team as an Installation/Sales Technician!

One of the nation's leading providers of blinds, shades, and shutters is looking for an Installation/Sales Technician to join our team.

What You'll Do:

As an Installation/Sales Technician, you'll travel to clients' homes in the Montgomery/Bucks County area, using your expertise to install and repair window treatments while providing top-notch service. Your days will be dynamic as you engage with clients, perform installations, and handle repairs, all while driving sales through exceptional service.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive Compensation: Base salary of $50,000 plus commission

  • Earnings Potential: Projected first-year earnings of $65,000

  • Generous Time Off: 2 weeks PTO, 7 sick days, and 6 paid holidays

  • Travel Expenses: Mileage reimbursement and a company vehicle for travel to in-home appointments

  • Comprehensive Training: Paid 2-week training in Dallas, TX (all expenses covered) and ongoing, in-depth training on the job

  • Schedule Flexibility: Choose Monday-Friday 9-5 or Tuesday-Saturday 9-5. Occasional Saturday flexibility will be needed for in-home/customer appointments.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Background in sales/customer service, installations, carpentry, or a similar field is valued but not required.

  • Driving Record: Clean and valid PA Driver's License

  • Background Check: Ability to pass a criminal background check

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Perform in-home installations and repairs within a 45-mile radius

  • Educate clients on the best options for their window covering needs

  • Use company-provided technology for precise measurements

  • Ensure flawless installations with lasting solutions

  • Coordinate and oversee installations from start to finish

  • Manage the installation process, from product delivery to completion

  • Utilize CRM software for accurate quotes and product tracking

  • Follow up proactively with clients post-installation

  • Drive to and from client consultations in a company-provided vehicle
