Sartorius Field Account Manager - Quebec Canada in Montreal (Quebec, United States

Sartorius is seeking a dynamic Field Account Manager based remotely in Montreal, Quebec. You will be responsible for revenue growth within an assigned group of accounts, proactively selling the full range of the BioProcess portfolio and developing strong customer relationships in order to leverage our position within the target organizations.

What you will accomplish together with us:

  • You will be responsible for proactively selling the full range of the bioprocess portfolio by both in- person and remote interaction to assigned accounts.

  • You will meet growth targets and objectives for assigned accounts.

  • One of your tasks will be to research and develop prospects within the assigned account mix.

  • You will identify key decision makers and gain an understanding of the best approach to communicate and build relationships.

  • In this key role, you will leverage Sartorius’ Solutions to solve critical customer challenges from early development to commercial manufacturing.

  • Support existing business within the assigned accounts, and uncover additional opportunities (both up and downstream)

  • One of your tasks will be to analyze customer needs, develop solutions and present our offerings.

  • You will work closely with technical teams, Marketing partners and internal stakeholders, utilizing these resources to support value offerings throughout the entire sales process.

  • Conduct customer presentations, demonstrations and negotiations; provide quotations, close the deal with the customer.

  • You will be expected to continuously monitor and pay close attention to market changes, both for competition as well as best practices. Communicate these changes to relevant internal parties to be poised to proactively respond.

  • Up to 40% of travel within the region, and up to 30% travel outside of region.

  • On a quarterly basis, you will provide and maintain forecasts for Regional Sales Managers.

  • Other duties as assigned.

What will convince us:

  • You have completed a Bachelor's degree preferably in a science discipline or with 5+ years of relevant experience with a demonstrated ability and proven competency to work effectively as an Account Manager within the biopharmaceutical industry.

  • You have a minimum of 1+ year(s) sales and account management experience in the biopharmaceutical industry or you have a minimum of 3+ years’ experience selling relevant technologies into a parallel industry.

  • You possess the ability to travel up to 40% in region, and 30% outside of region.

  • You are proficient with MS Office software, including Outlook, Word and Excel.

  • Ability to speak French is preferred, candidates based near Montreal, Quebec or Ottawa, Ontario.
