About River Landing Ambulatory Surgery Center
The River Landing Surgery Center at the Ambulatory Care Center will open summer 2024. As an Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC), it will focus on providing same-day surgical care to patients with added convenience. ASCs have a strong track record of quality care and positive patient outcomes. Performs initial assessment, admits and prepares patient for appropriate surgical/special procedure. Acts as a liaison between operative team and family. Provides postoperative care and support. Implements discharge plan. Provides specialized treatments and procedures, patient and family teaching. Provides professional, courteous, and emphatic service to a population ranging from infants to adults. Performs Pre- Op Clinic duties as needed. BCLS, ACLS and PALS required

RN I - Performs initial assessment, admits, and prepares patients for appropriate surgical/special procedures. Acts as a liaison between the operative team and patients' family. Provides postoperative care and support. Implements discharge plan. Provides specialized treatments and procedures, patient, and family teaching. Provides professional, courteous, and emphatic care. Performs Pre- Op Clinic duties as needed.
RN II - Performs initial assessment, admits, and prepares patients for appropriate surgical/special procedures. Acts as a liaison between the operative team and patients' family. Provides postoperative care and support. Implements discharge plan. Provides specialized treatments and procedures, patient, and family teaching. Provides professional, courteous, and emphatic care. Performs Pre- Op Clinic duties as needed. Demonstrates competency and skill in perioperative nursing to ensure patient safety throughout the three stages of perioperative care.
All About You :
Education: Graduation from an accredited nursing program with Colorado State Board of Nursing, licensure as a Registered Nurse
Experience as an OR nurse, procedure nurse, pre-op/PACU nurse preferred
Job Knowledge: Knowledge of surgical instrumentation - use, care, and cleaning. Ability to manage instruments in the variety of cases.
