Sharp Electronics Corporation National Account Coordinator in Montvale, New Jersey

Overview

Reporting to the Senior Director of Sales, the National Account Coordinator provides comprehensive support to key national accounts, ensuring smooth daily operations, efficient execution of tasks, and overall business growth. This role involves:

  • Direct Communication: Engaging with key personnel in merchandising, planning, and finance at select national accounts.

  • Customer Support: Addressing all customer inquiries and resolving consumer issues promptly and effectively.

  • Pricing and Promotions: Executing pricing strategies and promotional plans in collaboration with relevant team members.

  • Marketing Content: Managing brand and product marketing content for specific accounts, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.

This position is an in-office role, based in Montvale, NJ and eligible to participate in SHARP’s hybrid work from home (WFH) program

Responsibilities

Promotion Execution and Management:

  • Implement and manage all promotional activities for assigned accounts, ensuring timely execution and accurate tracking of results.

  • Regularly review and confirm upcoming promotions with accounts, making necessary adjustments.

  • Create and submit funding requests for promotions and marketing initiatives.

Sales and Inventory Optimization:

  • Monitor and analyze sell-through data to identify trends and make recommendations for inventory allocation and e-commerce stock levels.

  • Suggest order quantities for stocked items based on sales trends.

  • Maintain accurate pricing information in both account and Sharp systems.

  • Estimate sell-through rates for promotions to ensure accurate accrual of promotional funds.

Customer and Internal Relationship Management:

  • Work closely with the Brand Advocate at Lowe's to achieve shared goals and sales targets.

  • Assist the Senior Director of Sales on special projects and attend account-specific training.

  • Participate in event planning, meeting preparation, and internal communication regarding obstacles, pricing, competition, and new products.

  • Monitor and maintain Sharp product content and messaging on national account websites.

  • Ensure all promotions adhere to pricing guidelines (MAP/PMAP).

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key team members at assigned accounts.

Issue Resolution and Support:

  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve chargebacks, collections, and return issues.

  • Partner with Sharp customer service to address specific customer concerns.

  • Attend account CPFR (Collaborative Planning, Forecasting, and Replenishment) and QBR (Quarterly Business Review) meetings.

  • Participate in account-specific marketing program meetings and contribute to sales presentations.

Additional Duties:

  • Update internal tools, systems, and databases as needed.

  • Assist in preparing sales presentations.

  • Complete other duties as assigned by the AVP of National Accounts.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

  • Proven track record in order processing and customer service with major retailers.

  • Self-Management: Exceptional time management, organization, and attention to detail. Proactive and self-directed.

  • Technical Skills: Mastery of Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams.

  • Communication: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

  • Business Acumen: Demonstrated understanding of financial concepts and business operations.

  • Goal Orientation: Results-driven and focused on achieving objectives.

  • Collaboration: Ability to navigate and effectively work within a matrixed organizational structure.

  • Adaptability: Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced and changing environment.

  • Relationship Building: Proven ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with key account personnel at all levels.

  • Internal Communication: Effective communication and follow-through within a large organization.

Compensation for this position

The compensation range for this role is $58,125 - $99,100. The listed salary range or contractual rate excludes bonuses, incentives, differential pay, and any other forms of compensation or benefits. The starting salary will be determined by several variables, including but not limited to experience, education, training, certification, and location. You may also be eligible to receive an annual discretionary incentive award, commissions, and program-specific awards, which are subject to the rules governing these programs.
