REPORTS TO Executive Director of Human Resources

JOB DESCRIPTION Summary/Objective Processes all employee benefit enrollments, changes, and terminations. Assists Benefits Administrator and Executive Director of Human Resources with administrative duties.

Essential Functions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. 1. Processes all employee insurance enrollment, changes, terminations, and billing. 2. Processes 401k rollovers, hardships, contribution, and loan updates. 3. Processes STD/LTD claims. 4. Processes Workers Compensation claims. 5. Requests funding of accounts related to benefits. 6. Processes Benefit Deduction changes in payroll system. 7. Processes Accommodation requests. 8. Maintains Vendor Billing for Benefits. 9. Generates reports for HR and other departments as needed. 10. Assists with Annual Compliance reporting, filing and notifications. 11. Conducts benefits portion of new team member orientation. 12. Handles any employee inquiries dealing with benefits. 13. Completes Verification of Employment requests. 14. Organizes and maintains files and records.

Other Duties 1. Complies with all policies and procedures as applied to the Bank's BSA/AML policy. 2. Performs other duties as assigned.

Skills/Abilities 1. Excellent customer service skills: ability to deal effectively with employees, management, vendors, and the public. Must be able to communicate clearly & concisely over the phone. 2. Good knowledge of spreadsheet applications and word processing applications as they are related to the position. 3. Excellent organizational skills. 4. Attention to details. 5. Flexible in performing different tasks; enjoys a varied work environment. 6. High level of professionalism and confidentiality.

Supervisory Responsibility This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment This job operates in a clerical office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Office environment with job duties conducted via telephone, face to face meetings, and on the computer.

Physical Demands This position requires manual dexterity, the ability to lift files and opening cabinets. This position requires bending, stooping, or standing as necessary.

Travel Travel may be required for this position.

Education and Experience 1. High School Diploma or equivalent required. 2. Two years experience in a similar office setting. 3. One year Group Health Benefits experience required. 4. Proficiency in Excel and Word.
