Living Unlimited, Inc. Regional Program Manager - Disability and Human Services (Moosic, PA) in Moosic, Pennsylvania

Living Unlimited, Inc. is seeking a full-time, Regional Manager in Moosic, PA. The Regional Manager independently provides direction and is responsible for the day-to-day management of rehabilitation services for their assigned region. The position requires supervision of direct care staff and is an advanced, professional position requiring autonomous decision-making regarding staff performance, and communication/negotiation with community agency personnel. This position is a full-time, exempt position, starting at $52,000 per year 

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1.  *      * Conducts intake interviews and develops plans for potential clients.  Prepares reports to identify needs, explain program services and determine propriety for services.   

2.         Uses a variety of standardized measures and observations to evaluate client skills and potentials for community integration, independent living and employment.

3.         Assigns clients to direct service staff and supervises progress of services.  Supervises and evaluates work performance of all direct care staff.

4.         Negotiates payment of services and modifies rehabilitation process as necessary with a variety of payers.   Assures authorizations are secured for all services.  

5.         Monitors client progress through case management to assure compliance with rehabilitation plan and assure cost effectiveness of services.

6.         Ensures all clinical and administrative paperwork adheres to program standards, contract requirements and is in compliance with client goals. 

7.         Attends team conferences to review progress and ensure that services comply with the rehabilitation plan and meet customer needs.  Negotiates further services as needed.

8.         Provides staff training, including, including orientation of Rehabilitation Specialists and Assistants as well as formalized presentations at retreats for all staff.

9.         Markets program by meeting with potential funding sources, making group presentations, and identifying needs for services. 

10.       Networks with referral agents, community providers and agencies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a human service, rehabilitation, and/or social sciences field with two years of experience in the human services field.
  • Ability to demonstrate advanced knowledge of disability populations and the rehabilitation community.
  • Demonstrates high level of organizational skills, leadership, and problem-solving ability.
  • The position requires self-motivation and the ability to complete tasks independently as well as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to relate to a variety of individuals and functioning levels.
