Seasonal/Temporary work from 2/23/2025 - 12/1/2025
Participate in the inspection, grading, sorting, storage, and post-harvest treatment of crops including drying grain; Repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment; Set up, repair, maintain, and operate irrigation equipment; Inform farm managers of crop progress; Identify plants, pests, and weeds; Operate tractors, tractor-drawn machinery, and self-propelled machinery (much of which is equipped with GPS) such as combine, grain cart, tillage tool, etc. to plow, harrow and fertilize soil, or to plant,\ cultivate, spray and harvest crops such as rice, corn, wheat, soybeans; Load agricultural products into trucks without over or underfilling bed or trailer, and drive to market or storage facilities; Clean work areas and maintain grounds and landscaping; Regulate conditions; Maintain inventory; Haul and spread topsoil, fertilizer, and other materials to condition soil; Repair farm buildings, fences, and other structures; Assist with mixing materials, dumping solutions or seeds into planter or sprayer machinery; Attach implements using hand tools; Position boxes/bags at ends of machinery to catch products, remove and close full containers; Walk fields pulling off type weeds; Work will include hot and humid conditions. Must be able to speak and understand English.
