Zebra is a world leader in the development and manufacturing of time-temperature indicators to the healthcare industry. This technology visually alerts users if medical and biological products and shipments have experienced a temperature deviation. The world’s largest health organizations and life science manufacturers use Temptime’s products to ensure that potentially damaging temperature events to their medical products and supplies can be identified.

Other vertical markets including retail, transportation and logistics, public safety, and manufacturing, equally benefit from the unique asset monitoring and quality alert capabilities of environmentally-sensing technologies to identify the potential for degradation in sensitive products throughout the supply chain.

The Strategic Business Development Rep is a junior-level BDM that supports the development of strategic plans and programs to grow sales in designated portfolio segments and channels, specifically in perishable food and pharma markets. This role analyzes market data to identify trends/opportunities, executes strategic direction as set by leadership, and creates compelling marketing and strategy presentations.

This hybrid role must reside near/around Lincolnshire, IL or near/around Morris Plains, NJ. The expectation would be to work a hybrid schedule (2-3 days in the office, remainder of week working remotely). Regardless of hiring location, 10% travel expected.

Please note this role is compensated on a base + bonus structure and is not incentivized with variable commission.

Responsibilities:

• Uses skills, experience and resourcefulness to develop a full understanding of digital best practices, customer mix, product mix, channel strategy, pricing strategy, competitive landscape, promotions strategy and KPIs within designated portfolio or area of business.

• Works closely with product management, marketing and channel strategy teams to define and execute roadmap and strategy while meeting business and legal requirements.

• Supports the strategy, operations and optimization of digital channels.

• Supports the management of agencies and/or vendors engaged to support operations within designated portfolio or area of business.

• Provides expertise in sales strategies, product strategy, solutions, promotion programs, pricing for a variety of projects.

• Drive performance reviews and execute weekly/monthly and or ad hoc reporting & analysis as required.

• May lead projects and represent the function at meetings.

• Supports and may own communications to internal and partner audiences.

• Supports designated portfolio or business globally, executing work that is collaborative in nature.

• Regularly engages with senior level stakeholders as well as colleagues around the world.

• Work as part of a startup type function without many established processes due to a high level of new and changing objectives and initiatives.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.

  • 0 + years of applicable sales experience.

  • Must reside near/around Lincolnshire, IL or near/around Morris Plains, NJ and work a hybrid schedule (2-3 days in the office, remainder of week working remotely). Regardless of hiring location, 10% travel expected.

  • Current/previous experience in sales or business development a plus

  • Self-starter, energetic, strategic and analytical

  • Appetite to learn about cold-chain, environmental sensors, food and pharma markets and customers

Salary: USD 52400.00 - USD 78600.00 Yearly

Salary offered will vary depending on your location, job-related skills, knowledge, and experience.

Additionally, all Zebra roles are eligible for cash incentive programs. For example, sales roles have additional opportunity to earn substantial variable compensation tied to quota achievement. In most other roles, the Zebra annual cash incentive program links Company and individual performance together. Some roles may also be eligible for long-term incentive equity awards.
