Robert Half Human Resource Director in Morristown, New Jersey

Description

We are seeking an experienced and self-motivated HR Director to join our team. This is a hands-on, stand-alone role where the ideal candidate will be responsible for all aspects of human resources within the company. The HR Director will play a key role in developing and implementing HR strategies that align with our business objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.

  • Manage the recruitment and selection process to ensure we attract and hire top talent.

  • Oversee employee onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a smooth transition for all employees.

  • Handle all employee relations issues, providing guidance and support to managers and employees.

  • Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organization.

  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues; conduct effective, thorough, and objective investigations.

  • Maintain and enhance employee benefits programs, including compensation, health insurance, retirement plans, etc.

  • Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements.

  • Manage the performance appraisal process, providing guidance and support to managers on employee development and performance improvement.

  • Develop and implement training and development programs to enhance employee skills and capabilities.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR metrics.

    Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.

  • 7+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a senior HR role, preferably within the telecommunications industry.

  • Proven experience in a stand-alone HR role, managing all aspects of human resources independently.

  • Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws and regulations.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with employees at all levels.

  • Proficient in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
