If so, Atlantic Health System is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist for the Inpatient Rehabilitation Department at Morristown Medical Center. Essential functions include patient evaluation, establishing plans of care and treatment programs, providing interventions, providing patient and family education, documenting interventions, and billing appropriately. The selected candidate will be able to work with a wide variety of patients in the acute phase of their illness/injury for weakness, decline in physical function including ADLs and IADLs.

A Level III OT possesses 5+ years of prior experience. All licenses and certifications have been acquired to fulfill the duties required of a Occupational Therapist in the State of New Jersey. An OT III works on problems of diverse scope and advanced complexity, exercises independent judgement on moderately to substantially complex cases, requires little instruction on day-to-day work and general direction on more complex tasks and projects, and regularly trains staff on technical skills.

Minimum Education:

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program as evidenced by a license to practice in the State of NJ.

Minimum Experience:

• Preference given to internal AHS applicants

• Preference will be given to candidates with 5+ years of experience and professional work experience in a large academic medical setting.

• Preference given to candidates with experience in management of the critically ill patient

License/Certifications:

• Licensed Occupational Therapist in New Jersey
