Atlantic Health System Sponsored Projects Analyst I in Morristown, New Jersey

Responsible for overseeing quality review and accuracy of clinical trial agreements and budgets before issuing Final Authorization to Proceed Letter (FAPL) to a study team, including maintenance of tracking and execution reports. Administers and supports the post award by handling contract invoice and payments to non-employed physicians and vendors. Additionally, manages the Clinical Trial Management System (CTMS), and works with the study team to ensure that each protocol is built accurately in the CTMS and negotiated rates are associated correctly by visit and ready for the study team to enroll and track the research patients.

Principal Accountabilities:

  1. Maintains time and effort reports and conduct year-end receipt analysis.

  2. Maintains all grants and contracts spreadsheets, pending grid, master grid, executed grid, non-employed grid, scorecard, and IRB invoicing grid.

  3. Assists and maintains public website, publish approved studies with NCT and study contact and remove studies as they terminate. Maintain spreadsheet with published information.

  4. Communicates with marketing team after all FAPLs to create awareness of any relevant project that aligns with marketing campaigns and to make them aware of any clinical trial agreements that have awarded marketing dollars to aid in patient recruitment.

  5. Prepares pre-award packages for signature and files when received by study team and maintains FedEx history slips.

  6. Processes check requests as received from research departments for quality check against ICA/contract, attach no balance bill communication before sending out.

  7. Ensures quality check on all clinical trial agreements before contract execution and routes for authorized official signatures.

  8. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required:

  1. Bachelors degree in Arts/Science or related field.

Preferred:

  1. 2-5 years experience as a Project Analyst or relevant area. Grant Management a plus
