Valley National Bank Sr Occupancy Planner in Morristown, New Jersey

The Sr Occupancy Planner will provide space planning expertise to manage the programming and physical planning to meet Valley's space needs.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Prepare, review and issue space programming deliverables.
  • Support seat management database updates and maintenance.
  • Analysis of headcount and seat count and work with stakeholders to define demand and adjacency requirements.
  • Gather baseline data for blocking, stacking, and phasing plans.
  • Prepare basic AutoCAD and revise as planning evolves.
  • Develop stack diagrams and color-coded departmental floor plans.
  • Compile space surveys, end user interviews, and program analysis.
  • Analyze space requirements for various lines of business and assist in developing roadmap for key locations.
  • Provide conceptual space plans and recommendations.
  • Produce drawings and presentations for internal stakeholders and managers.
  • Conduct analysis and review of buildings and areas impacted by moves.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with department representatives.
  • Coordinate space and system furniture planning efforts with department representatives.
  • Partner with architects, IT, project management, facilities, and
    sustainability teams.
  • Develop executive level presentations.
  • Engage in post occupancy support and process improvement.

Required Skills:
  • AutoCAD.
  • Office Space.
  • Proficient on spreadsheets and MS Office Suite.
  • Excellent Written and verbal communication skills.
  • Understanding of basic space planning including furniture, AV and basic power and data.
Required Experience:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in occupancy or space planning related functions.
Preferred Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in a business related field preferred.
  • Corporate and/or financial institution experience
  • Interior design or architecture training.

Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
$81,400.00
$140,500.00
