Job Description

As a Global Marketing Manager at Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc., you will have the unique opportunity to lead and implement global marketing strategies, plans, and campaigns for our product lines. Your role will play a vital part in supporting our growth targets and ensuring alignment with global business units and regional strategies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Business Unit Product Management, Divisional Marketing, Regional Marketing, and outside agencies, to develop valuable content, digital assets, and educational materials. Marketing expertise and strong interpersonal skills will be crucial in driving the success of our marketing initiatives.

A Day in the Life:

  • Lead development and implantation of marketing strategy, plans, and campaigns for the Global Business Unit.

  • Act as a liaison between Product Management and global strategic marketing

  • Lead and track campaign execution from start to finish

  • Ensure a customer centric strategy aligns with the overall marketing strategy and campaign goals

  • Establish, evaluate, and optimize against monthly marketing performance indicators aligned with business objectives

  • Collaborate with Divisional Marketing, Regional Marketing, and outside agencies to develop campaigns, digital promotional assets, and educational materials

  • Responsible for development and execution of content and editorial calendars for campaigns and programs

  • Lead joint partner marketing plan development in collaboration with the License partner business unit team

  • Lead the development of customer-centric value proposition, personas, and messaging

  • Plan and coordinate global and regional BU marketing budgets

  • Collaborate with eMarketing team on digital marketing planning and execution

  • Work with sales enablement team on sales tool strategy and deployment

Keys to Success:

Education

  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Biology, Biochemistry, Medicine, Marketing, Advertising, or related fields

Experience

  • 5+ yrs experience working within In-vitro Diagnostics, Toxicology, Quality Control, and/or Biomarkers preferred

  • Experience with campaign development, reporting and analyzing the marketing funnel to identify gaps in assets or content

  • Prior remote experience preferred

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Effective communicator with excellent oral and written presentation skills

  • Strong project management skills and attention to detail

  • Proficiency in English. Additional language skills strongly preferred (Chinese, German, French, Spanish, or Italian)

  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

  • Ability to understand and articulate complex scientific literature and clinical data

  • Outcome oriented and a strong desire to measure the success of initiatives

  • Proficient in Microsoft programs: PowerPoint, Excel, PowerBI, etc.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range estimated for this position based in Pennsylvania is $93,800.00–$137,500.00.

This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
