Description and Requirements

We are seeking an experienced and passionate NA Retail Training Program Manager to oversee the execution of training and in-store merchandising initiatives, driving brand advocacy, streamlining retail presence, and contributing to Lenovo NA Consumer business objectives and goals.

The NA Retail Training & Program Manager will work closely with Lenovo Sales, Marketing and Product Management teams while partnering with external agencies to implement training programs tailored for third party retail agents, retail sales associates and Retail partners. This position will project manage the execution of merchandising projects and continuouslyidentifyperformance improvement opportunities. This role requires retailexpertise, strong cross-functional collaboration, and excellent project management skills.

Responsibilities:

Training:

  • Collaborate with Lenovo Product Management and Lenovo Sales toidentifytrainingrequirementbased on the product and business strategy.

  • Fully own the developmentand delivery of in-person and online training content (PPT, Videos,eLearnings)forthird party retail agents and retail sales associates.

  • Support Lenovo’s presence at retail training events, coordinating with event management vendor, retail partners and Lenovo Sales.

Merchandising:

  • Execute merchandising projects tracking against detailed timelines and drivingquality andon-timedelivery.

  • Track and report on brand presence through vendor audits, sharing results with key internal stakeholders to drive improvement.

  • Oversee performance of online brand ambassador(s),monitoringengagement with customer through retail review and Q&As forums

Operations:

  • Own the management of third-party labor agencies, managing contracts, leading quarterly business reviews, and driving vendor compliance.

  • Demonstrate business impact, continuouslymonitoringthe effectiveness of programs andidentifying,tracking,and reporting on KPIs.

  • Analyze sales data, customer feedback, and market trends toidentifyareas for improvement in training and merchandising strategies.

Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field.

  • 5+ years' experience in retail management, training, or merchandising roles, including managing external agencies.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of retail operations, customer service principles, and merchandising techniques.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage agency relationships effectively.

  • Proficiencyin analyzing data and using insights to drive decision-making.

  • Willingness to travel regularly to training events and stores.

  • Strong cross-functional team, project management, interpersonal and influencing skills with the ability to be highly collaborative at all levels within the organization.

  • Budget management

  • Strong negotiation skills

  • Instructional designexpertiseis a plus

This is a hybrid role that requires work from our Morrisville, NC office 3 days a week and work from home 2 days a week.*
