Description and Requirements

You will be responsible for driving revenue and profit, and customer satisfaction with a select number of our Channel Partners. In this role, you will be selling tailored Collaboration /Video Conferencing solutions for Lenovo. You’ll collaborate with Lenovo Sellers & Channel Sellers to provide the solution selling expertise to promote Lenovo’s Smart Collaboration / Video Conferencing portfolio and close new business. You will champion the innovative power of our solution offerings within the reseller channel, helping partners become more effective in selling our solutions. You’ll collaborate with our Smart Collaboration Business Unit, which develops our Collaboration / Video Conferencing solutions, to help identify requirements and ensure adequate training and support for your solution-selling efforts. Our solutions include integrated hardware, software, and services from Lenovo and third-party development partners. This role involves direct channel and client interaction along with both deep industry experience along with a deep industry contacts. This role requires expertise in closing deals, driving adoption of new cloud technologies, and achieving significant growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrates a strong understanding of Video Conferencing and associated AV solutions technology, including its practical application and how it meets customers' needs.

  • Develop sales strategy and set aggressive goals to grow key markets within which we compete for collaboration / video conferencing business.

  • Achieve revenue and profitability objectives for Lenovo by driving sales with our channel partners.

  • Align and collaborate with the Lenovo’s Channel Account team covering our Channel Partners to understand segment initiatives and deliver successful strategies to drive Collaboration / Video Conferencing sales.

  • Develop relationships with sales and sales leadership to serve as a trusted consultant to our Channel Partners.

  • Develop strategies for enhancing channel sales, as well as communicate and understand Total Cost of Ownership and industry trends.

  • Build complex sales strategy to ensure both long- and short-term goals, objects and quotas are met.

Basic Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 5 + years of experience in solution sales (hardware, software and services)

Preferred Job Requirements:

  • Demonstrated track record of top performance with multi-million dollar quotas.

  • Strong skills in building relationships and engaging confidently with executive-level customers and Channel Partner leadership.

  • Familiarity with Collaboration / Video Conferencing / Pro AV technology solutions or Cloud solutions

  • Superior presentation skills

  • Proven experience in closing new business and managing relationships within net new and existing accounts

  • Experience in solution-selling and value-selling techniques!

  • Proven ability to develop strategies and execute against an account plan to drive results.

  • Travel to any or all Channel Partner sites and tradeshows when appropriate.

  • Proven rolodex of proven channel sellers, design engineers, sales engineers, solution architects, channel leadership contacts.

Morrisville, NC or Chicago, IL based with the ability to travel up to 60%
