About the Job:
Precision Planting is seeking a positive and responsible individual to serve as the HR Manager at our Morton Operations site. As the HR Manager, you will be responsible for leading and directing HR department functions, including training, development, hiring, and administering pay, benefits, leave, and ensuring compliance with company policies.
Responsibilities:
Provide HR support and guidance to the business; answering employee and manager questions about HR programs, policies and other HR related items
Provide support and guidance to the HR generalists, coordinators and other staff regarding conflict resolution and other delicate circumstances.
Oversees employee disciplinary meetings, terminations and investigations.
Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
Recruit, interview, hire and train new employees
Oversees the daily function workflow
Partners with the leadership team to understand talent strategy and future hiring needs
Analyzes trends in compensation and benefits
Manage record keeping of all employee files
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field required
A minimum of five years of human resource management experience, preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications:
SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP highly desired
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate them when appropriate
