rrPosition Summary:

rThis position plays a role in supporting fundraising efforts by providing strategic insights into data to improve fundraising performance. Using business intelligence and prospect research tools, this position supports the effort to prioritize prospects within an individual fundraiser\'s portfolio.

Duties may include:

  • Utilize prospect data to identify, segment and prioritize potential major donors
  • Analyze donor giving patterns, wealth indicators and affinity to tailor fundraising strategies
  • Develop comprehensive reports and dashboards to communicate insights and recommendation to key stakeholders
  • Conduct in-depth research on individuals, corporations and foundations to assess giving capacity and philanthropic interests
  • Ensure the accuracy, completeness and integrity of prospect data within the CRM database
  • Serve as a resource for best practices in prospect research and data-driven fundraising strategies
  • Other duties as assigned

rrMinimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

{=html} <!-- --> - Two years research experience in development or related professional arena - Experience with online databases and services, information resources, data visualization, reporting and data management - Experience with prospect identification strategies and research techniques - Experience in project management

rrPreferred Qualifications:

r

  • Bachelors Degree in Business, Information Systems, Statistics or Data Sciences
  • Experience with various research resources such as LexisNexis, WealthEngine, ResearchPoint, iWave Pro and/or public records
  • Knowledge of development activities in higher education
  • Experience conducting analytical research
  • Knowledge of collecting and tabulating macro-level data
  • Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills as demonstrated in application materials
