    Primary Purpose of this position:

    Assist with installation, startup and commission of commercial/industrial HVAC equipment.

    Specific Job Duties:

  • Follow and adhere to all company safety requirements and processes

  • Assist with installation per manufacturer specifications and company policies:

  • Manual dampers and supporting hardware

  • Flex and sheet metal ductwork and associated duct fittings in light commercial and residential buildings

  • Copper refrigerant lines to air conditioning units, including brazing and soldering

  • HVAC related equipment including split systems and roof top units up to 20 tons

  • Assist with wiring of both low and line voltage to cooling and heating equipment

  • Assist in pre-measuring jobs to determine material required for installation

  • Ensure proper installation of gas line connections to heating equipment

  • Accurately complete required job documentation in a timely manner

  • Work with other team members and departments to meet job/project deadlines and specifications

    Formal education, certifications and/or experience required:

  • Must hold a Universal Refrigerant Certificate or be willing to obtain

  • HVAC Installation experience a plus

    Other Requirements:

  • Punctual and regular attendance

  • Ability to work on a team and interact with people

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong mechanical aptitude

  • Must have the ability to travel to job sites
