Description

We are in search of an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Mount Laurel, New Jersey. In this role, you will be responsible for daily cash deposits, processing firm accounts payable, and working within our general ledger system. This position requires a comprehensive understanding of accounting software systems, Microsoft Excel, and other accounting functions.

Responsibilities:

• Handle daily cash deposits, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in reporting.

• Process firm accounts payable with precision, adhering to the company's financial policies and regulations.

• Work within the general ledger system, maintaining data integrity and ensuring regular updates.

• Utilize accounting software systems for various accounting tasks and functions.

• Employ Microsoft Excel for data analysis and financial reporting.

• Conduct check processing and data entry duties.

• Manage Accounts Payable, maintaining clear and organized records.

• Resolve any discrepancies or issues related to accounts payable.

• Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth financial operations.

• Continually update skills and knowledge in the field of accounting to increase efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is crucial for efficient execution of tasks

• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create complex spreadsheets

• Solid understanding of Accounting Functions and their application in the context of Accounts Payable

• Experience with Check Processing, including issuing, recording, and verifying checks

• Ability to perform Data Entry tasks quickly and accurately

• Experience with Accounts Payable, including processing invoices and managing vendor payments.
