EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
- The grounds position typically involves maintaining the all grounds of the MTPCSD, including landscaping, mowing, and operating equipment: Landscaping : Planting, weeding, and spreading mulch or other materials
Mowing
: Cutting grass, edging, and watering lawns
Equipment operation
: Driving and maintaining vehicles and equipment like mowers, tractors, and trucks
Snow removal
: Clearing snow and ice from walkways and parking lots
Minor repairs
: Fixing grounds equipment and performing minor repairs to buildings
Record keeping
: Maintaining records of work orders, equipment maintenance.
Safety
: Ensuring safety and following safety precautions
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES DESIRED:
EDUCATION AND LICENSURE:
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED).
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
- Knowledge of the use and care of materials, tools, and equipment
- Ability to perform minor building repairs
- Ability to plan, organize and carry out work schedules efficiently
- Responsible attitude towards job and fellow workers
- Must be willing to work in adverse weather conditions
- Reports to work as scheduled on a regular and reliable basis
- Effective oral and written communications
- Ability to work independently
- Aptitude for detail
- Ability to work under pressure with frequent interruptions
