Position Summary:

The School of Communication, Journalism & Media seeks a film studies instructor to cover for a professor on sabbatical in Fall 2024 and then teach courses on an as-needed basis in successive semesters. If the candidate can teach other types of media and communication courses, a full-time appointment may be possible. 

Required Qualifications:

• Master's degree in media or film studies. • Previous college teaching experience in film studies courses. • Ability to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3-5 years experience teaching in higher education. • Expertise in multiple communication and media areas.
