US Tech Solutions Administrative Associate I in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina

Job Description:

  • Schedule: Mon to Fri split schedule, could be 8:30-5:30 or 10-7, 1 hour lunch unpaid. Schedule may include Saturdays and overtime may be required .

  • We will interview in person only, additional interview with senior leader. Candidates must live close to the retail center in Mt Pleasant. LOCAL CANDIDATES!

  • There is no remote work option for these positions at all. Onsite Only.

  • Top skill set/qualities…professional phone voice/conversation, experience dealing face to face with public.

  • Typical day…checking in customers for appointments, outbound calls (up to 30 or more per day) to members to try to set appointments, evening calls to verify next day’s appointments, offering refreshments to waiting room, preparing mailings to go to post office, entering sales for documentation purposes, any other administrative duties.

  • Soft skills…. candidate must be patient and friendly on the phone and in person in order to make our members comfortable and want to work with us. Training will take place in the retail center on the job. This position will not become very busy until Nov 1…business/activity in the store will be slow until then. We are a sales team

  • We need the candidate for this position to make our members want to work with us.

  • Dress code requirement…solid colour slacks or skirt, no pattern. No shorts, no jeans and no jeans style regardless of material. Branded polos to be ordered for temps, until then a solid colour polo or business casual top, no t-shirts, no tank tops.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides general administrative, clerical, and project coordination support. Maintains area files, correspondence, reports, and other documentation. Coordinates, completes, and delivers required reporting. Tasks are varied and usually require area specific knowledge to complete work.

  • Performs general clerical duties and administrative support including ordering supplies, arranging travel, maintaining calendars, and providing phone coverage for upper management.

  • Maintains area specific reports or presentations. Updates or logs correspondence and/or documents.

Experience:

  • 1 year office or administrative support experience.

Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent grammar, letter writing and telephone skills. Organizational and customer service skills. Good judgment. Ability to handle confidential or sensitive information with discretion.

  • Required Software and Tools: Microsoft Office. Preferred Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of business area goals and objectives.

  • Analytical or critical thinking skills. Ability to use complex mathematical calculations. Ability to persuade, negotiate or influence. Work Environment: Typical office environment. Work may require transporting or moving materials.

Education:

  • Associate's Degree or Two years of job related work experience or a combination of education and experience equal to 2 years.
