They're hiring a permanent Sr. Application Systems Analyst. This person will be responsible for supporting the financial application systems—analyzing, modifying, enhancing, integrating with new/other applications etc. SCPA has new, over the counter applications (i.e. Tideworks) they are using to run the terminals. These applications spit out data which the current team takes, warehouses, crunches it, adds some additional business knowledge and hands off into the financials app (Peoplesoft). Since the applications don't do 100% of what needs to be done to be compatible with Peoplesoft, the team has to get creative and massage the data to fit within Peoplesoft. While this proprietary middleware app is written in PL/SQL, anyone with backend development (java/c+ etc.) can pick it up. This person will not only be working with the middleware application but will also be in charge of supporting the terminal operating systems that keep track of all containers and vessels coming and going from a billing perspective. The goal eventually is to replace Peoplesoft Financials with a new ERP/Cloud Based solution. The over the counter apps such as Tideworks are canned so the code will not be touched. Really this role is managing applications and making sure they communicate properly by filling in the blanks.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $118000.00 - $130000.00

PEBA benefits in notes and attachments. Full-time employees have access to 50% tuition reimbursement for transferable skills, State benefits, 96 hours of PTO + 10 paid Holidays; after 5 years 120 hours + 10 PTO, 401K or 401A option with 5% port match on 401A side.
