Gather and analyze databases of logistics information such as product demand forecast, purchase planning, inventory control, warehouse, receiving, and distribution for SamsBeauty Warehouse Inc. and affiliated Sams Beauty Group companies; Analyze inventories to determine how to increase inventory turns, reduce waste, or optimize customer service; Design or improve warehouse strategies in conjunction with warehouse manager for receipt and distribution of products; Set and maintain targeted inventory levels while addressing shortage and overstock situations; Review or update supply chain practices in accordance with new or changing environmental policies, standards, regulations, or laws; Analyze demand history and external factors to forecast product demand; Maintain all required data and keep compliance for all regulatory programs internal or external; Define and implement supplier cost reduction activities for defined savings targets; and Collaborate with the marketing team in the coordination of product line expansions, or new product launches to ensure orderly and timely transitions in product flow.
