Our client, a leading distribution company, is seeking a General Warehouse Associate to join their team. As a General Warehouse Associate, you will be part of the Receiving team supporting the warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and have a positive attitude that aligns with the organization's values.

Job Title: General Warehouse Associate

Location: Mount Vernon, IL

Pay Range: $17 per hour

What's the Job?

• Receiving, scanning, picking, packing, auditing, and shipping merchandise to the customer

• Tracking all inbound and outbound items through radio frequency (RF) scanning to ensure accountability in inventory

• Verifying orders and ensuring entry into the inventory management system

• Operating a clean and safe work environment, ensuring that all areas of the warehouse are well maintained, kept orderly, and free of debris

• Maintaining quality standards set forth by warehouse management

What's Needed?

• Ability to stand for at least 8 hours with or without reasonable accommodation

• Ability to perform tasks which include pushing, pulling, grasping, and lifting with or without reasonable accommodation

• Ability to carry up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation

• High School Diploma/GED and at least 2 years experience in a warehouse or distribution center preferred
