Division Information The PACCAR Technical Center provides engineering excellence to the truck, engine, and winch divisions of PACCAR Inc through innovative product development and testing. The Technical Center is located in the Skagit Valley about 65 miles north of Seattle, Washington. Job Functions / Responsibilities Communicates strategic benefits of projects to various levels of management throughout the organization to gain support and to achieve goals. Track and report critical metrics (readiness, defects, documentation, communication). Provide analysis and feedback to senior management on project activities, status, improvements, and savings. Directs the activities of team members to meet project goals. Prepare and deliver program presentations. Contribute to department-wide continuous improvement activities. Travel up to 15% will be required. Effectively balances stakeholder needs against project constraints. Applies Six Sigma tools to improve process capability and eliminate defects. Works with cross-functional teams to recommend and implement process improvement plans. Challenge conventional wisdom by applying new methodologies to improve product and process quality. Develop fact-based, data-driven measurements of validation performance in collaboration with the stakeholders. Proficient and well-versed in the use of project management tools.
