Intuit Lead Financial Analyst in Mountain View, California

Overview

The Accelerating Functions finance team at Intuit is responsible for strategic business partnership with finance and executive leaders across Intuit’s functional groups: People and Places, Marketing and Communications, Global Finance, Legal, and Corporate Strategy and Development. We also develop strategic, data driven insights and partner with key senior leaders in support of decisions with company-wide impact.

We are looking for a new member to join as Lead Financial Analyst to support the M&C Ecosystem to perform research, analysis and reporting on marketing spend and key metrics across Intuit. In addition, the Lead Financial Analyst will work on key projects to develop data driven insights.

The Lead Financial analyst role offers significant exposure to leaders and partners across Intuit. The ideal candidate will be an inquisitive self-starter, with a deep understanding of financial theory, proven business acumen, strong analytical and modeling skills, and hands-on FP&A experience.

What you'll bring

  • BS in Finance or Economics, or equivalent work experience (MBA Preferred)

  • 5+ years relevant experience in a highly dynamic finance role

  • Self-motivated individual with demonstrated ability to both lead and drive complex analysis to influence and drive decisions

  • Trusted business partner who delivers operational excellence by understanding the needs of the business and identifying opportunities to improve financial results

  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical, problem solving, and financial modeling skills

  • Excellent collaboration skills, ability to work well within teams, and ability to coordinate across multiple organizations

  • Strong communicator with proven ability to synthesize data into clear, direct and actionable senior Executive deliverables (e.g. dashboards, presentations, etc.)

  • Passion for problem-solving, comfortable with ambiguity, creative and able to juggle multiple priorities

How you will lead

  • Thoughtfully lay out narratives and dashboards to drive executive insights and decision making in support of our strategic initiatives

  • Partner on projects to align on the right set of metrics to enable our marketing investments to deliver outsized returns

  • Partner and collaborate as a key FP&A partner with segment groups to provide an accurate forecast, influence and execute against each group’s vision, strategies, and priorities.

  • Create financial reporting presentations (month end/quarter close, forecast updates) for senior business leaders to enable transparency into the business performance and drive key decisions impacting the business trajectory.

  • Partner across FP&A to continuously improve process and tools to drive scale
