Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

• 5 years of experience in product management or related technical role.

• 2 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch.

• Experience in the smart home or home automation industry.

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's degree in a technology or business related field.

• 3 years of experience in a business function or role (e.g., strategic marketing, business operations, consulting).

• 3 years of experience in a role preparing and delivering technical presentations to senior leadership.

• 2 years of experience working cross-functionally with engineering, UX/UI, sales finance, and other stakeholders.

• Possess a technical background with an understanding of software development principles.

• Familiarity with machine learning and AI concepts.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $142,000-$211,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. • Develop a multi-year product strategy for Google's automation platform, shaping the future of how users interact with and automate their smart homes.

• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure integration and adoption of Google's automation platform.

• Advocate a developer and user-centric approach, incorporating user research and feedback to inform the development of intuitive and delightful automation features.

• Partner with analytics teams to establish key performance indicators (KPIs), measure success, and drive data-driven improvements to the platform.

• Work with engineering, design, product planning, marketing, and business development teams to bring the automation platform to life.
