Intuit Senior Manager, Software Engineering in Mountain View, California

Overview

Join the Fintech Team as a Manager 2 in the Widgets team. The Fintech team is responsible for all aspects of money movement and risk assessment within Intuit's Small Business Group. The team works with cutting-edge technologies and systems to deliver world-class systems and services with extremely high operational and engineering excellence.

What you'll bring

  • BS/MS in computer science or equivalent work experience

  • 4+ years experience as an established technical leader of software engineering teams that have successfully delivered customer-driven software products

  • Demonstrated experience leading positive change, empowering people, cultivating product technology visions and innovative solutions, and fostering effective engineering teams

  • Adept at articulating the product vision and driving the future roadmap with solid business acumen

  • Ability to think and act strategically for all stakeholders

  • Possesses strong verbal and written communication skills

  • "Self-starter" attitude and ability to make decisions independently

  • A helpful, can-do attitude and a willingness to take ownership of problems

  • Strong desire to learn and grow

  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a history of superb delivery against assigned tasks

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience developing, maintaining, and innovating large-scale, consumer-facing web applications

  • Familiar with the development challenges inherent in highly scalable and available web applications

  • Experience with various modern web frameworks

  • Experience with Mobile development is a huge plus

  • Partner effectively with all team members in the organization to deliver against commitments

  • Work cross-functionally with various Intuit teams: product management, various product lines, or business units to drive forward results

  • Experience with Agile Development, SCRUM, or Extreme Programming methodologies
