Location: Mt. Vernon, NY

Pay Rate: $26.75/hr. + Benefits

Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00AM-4:30PM (40hrs)

THIS POSITION IS ON-SITE

Senior IT Technician

General Summary:The Senior IT Technician, under general supervision of the IT Director will assist in all computer, software and network support across Access and its affiliates. This includes, but is not limited to support, training and project implementations.

Essential Job Duties

  • Support of the Windows Active Directory Environment

  • Troubleshooting and solving hardware and software issues

  • Provide network support for DHCP, DNS & IP issues

  • Support of the Avaya telephone system

  • Assist in implementing system changes

  • Laptop, desktop, iPhone builds

  • Documentation of Processes and Procedures

  • System Testing and Training

  • Provide implementation support

  • Other duties as assigned

    Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Attributes

  • Advanced knowledge of standard software programs (Microsoft Office, Windows, Outlook & Office 365)

  • The Senior IT Technician will also be responsible for developing proficiencies in critical applications such as Microsoft SharePoint, Quest KACE, and IMA among others.

  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing

  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships and to relate well with supervisors, employees and others

  • Ability to provide feedback where needed

    Qualifications and Experience

  • IT Certification(s) and/ or Degree in Computer Technology preferred

  • 4 years of business specific experience

    Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time

  • Lifting and transporting of light to moderately heavy objects, such as signature pads, scanners, computers and peripherals.

  • Must be able to travel to multiple program sites and vendor locations as needed.

  • On-call availability

    Travel

  • Travel is estimated to be 30% of time
