We are looking for hard working, passionate Catering Assistants to work for our Onsite Catering Division.

Key Notes-

• MUST BE AT LEAST 18 YEARS OR OLDER TO APPLY

• Hours are based upon scheduled caterings, no definitive hours

• Catering events vary by location: all Assistants will meet at assigned event. No reimbursement for travel expenses.

• Must obtain CA Food Handlers Certificate prior to hire

This position is considered on-call. You will need to be available to work as needed, often on short notice. You may not have a set schedule, but you will be contacted when events arise that require additional staffing. This role is perfect for those who have flexible availability and enjoy working in dynamic environments.

Job Details-

• Your number one responsibility is to provide superior customer service. We expect you to treat our customers in a polite, respectful and attentive manner

• Stock buffet trays and steam table neatly and accurately as per menu

• Ensure all display foods are merchandised attractively as per standards

• Display food under appropriate hot or cold conditions as per standards

• Complete cold food preparation assignment in a timely fashion

• Maintain appropriate portion control and merchandising standards

• Maintain proper food handling, safety and sanitation standards

• Keep display equipment clean and free of debris during meal service as assigned

• Clean equipment and work station at end of each catering
