The Global Demand Center team is looking for a highly talented Senior Business Program Manager (BPM) to help drive marketing operations efforts.

In this role, you’ll be the execution “glue” working across multiple, high-performing integrated teams of marketing professionals with a variety of skills (Product Marketing, Brand and Content, Marketing Technologists, Platform Specialists, Data Analysts, Social Media, Paid Acquisition, Field Operations specialists and others) to drive buyers to make the right choice for Microsoft. You’ll have the unique opportunity to be a thought leader at the intersection of marketing and technology to help take the Marketing Operations business to new heights of innovation and results.

Responsibilities

  • Being a modern marketing technology leader! Understanding marketing technology opportunities and guiding the team to the implementation approaches to best suit ultimate business goals.

  • Being the subject matter expert for the end-to-end Global Demand Center Marketing Operations ecosystem, establishing the tools and processes to support management of incoming requests and driving a v-team to evaluate, prioritize and deliver against those requests.

  • Engage with business stakeholders and Senior Leaders across teams to frame, structure and prioritize operational solutions to drive operational efficiencies.

  • Establish baseline measurements to enable the identification, quantification, and ability to measure improvements in our operating model to reduce time, skill, and overall costs.

  • Manage a portfolio of important, complex, and large-scale marketing projects end to end across the organization, including managing custom technology builds and driving global program rollouts.

  • Working across tech workstreams and business teams to drive system/tool changes to support business priorities.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Engineering, or related field AND 5+ years marketing operations, program management, project management, or related experience

  • OR equivalent experience.

  • 3+ years experience working with diverse teams and managing complex projects within a business context

  • 2+ years of advanced Microsoft Excel, Dynamic 365 (Project Operations module), Azure DevOps and PowerPoint skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Engineering, or related field AND 8+ years marketing operations, program management, project management, or related experience

  • OR Master's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Finance, Engineering, or related field AND 5+ years marketing operations, program management, project management, or related experience

  • OR equivalent experience.

  • 3+ years technology/process improvement experience.

  • Demonstrable experience with developing profiecent relationships with stakeholders and becoming a trusted partner to help achieve business goals and resolve/escalate issues through resolution.

  • Demonstrable experience with organizing and participating in stakeholder meetings, preparing necessary presentation materials, and documenting and following up on important actions and decisions.

  • Demonstrable experience with managing large portfolio of activities, working across teams to determine prioritization and allocation of resources for maximum business outcomes.

  • Demonstrable experience with driving well thought out process and tool improvement projects that are sensitive to the interdependencies between tools/process/program/teams coupled with effective change management to ensure successful implementation.

Marketing Technology IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $103,800 - $200,300 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $133,700 - $219,200 per year.
