The Identity and Access Management team within Microsoft’s Security organization delivers solutions for enterprises to govern identities and secure access across business-critical applications, HR systems and directories. We ensure that the right people have the right access to the right apps and services at the right time.

As a Senior Product Manager in the Identity division you will spearhead the development and strategic direction of our products to enable secure access of privileged administrators across Azure and other cloud platforms. Your leadership will be pivotal in shaping solutions that safeguard critical assets through innovative cloud security practices, blending just-in-time controls with the flexibility required for administrative efficiency.

• Define the product and product capabilities in close partnership with customers every step of the way.• Design and build product capabilities with engineering.

• Engage customers to validate, design, refine product offering and enable customer adoption.

• Develop collaborative relationships with cross-functional teams and drive alignment.

• Work closely with product marketing to position offering and enable sales organization to pilot, deploy and operate offering

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree AND 5+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development

• OR equivalent experience.

Other Requirements

• Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree AND 7+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development

• OR equivalent experience.

• Understanding of Identity security technologies is useful.

• Competent technical problem solving and communication skills.

• Experience interacting with enterprise customers and building admin persona focused products.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced dynamic environment with rapidly changing requirements

• Demonstrated leadership and effective cross-team skills.

Product Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $112,000 - $218,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $145,800 - $238,600 per year.
