Job Title: Test Technician

Job Description

This role will be in an engineering lab conducting engine dynamometer testing on 500 high-performance engines, with a goal of testing two per week. Responsibilities include setting up the tests, consulting with engineers regarding engine information such as design, specifications, purpose, and types of material to be used. You will run tests to ensure accuracy of data and results, inspect engines in use to determine wear and usability using testing equipment (Compression, Cylinder leakage, tip height, lash, Bore scope inspections, for example), analyze test results, and prepare the engine for assembly.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Muskegon Heights, Michigan.

Work Environment

This will be a clean lab environment, running 24/7. Shifts are 12 hours, 4 days on and 4 days off, with both day and night shifts available (4-4). A $2 shift premium is available for night shifts.
