Description:

Cares for employees’ health and safety issues.

Injury follow up, gate keeping and assist with maintaining OSHA log. Follows up on exposure to diseases. Processes new employee physicals, administers immunizations and performs fit testing. Logs all employee health information as required for employment, will triage and follow up on employee injury and other incidents as appropriate. Other duties as assigned.

Position Summary:

A variety of shared responsibilities in a busy practice. Utilizes nursing assessment skills and clinical protocol guidelines in a decision-making capacity to provide timely and efficient patient care.

What you will do:

  • Processes new employee physicals, administers immunizations and performs fit testing.

  • Logs all employee health information as required for employment, will triage and follow up on employee injury and other incidents as appropriate.

  • Other duties as assigned.

What you will need:

  • CHSP certification or COHN within 5 years or employment highly recommend.

  • At least 5 to 10 years of related experience.

  • Graduation from a NLN or AACN accredited school of nursing

  • Enrollment in a Baccalaureate Degree in the Science of Nursing (BSN) Degree from an accredited school of nursing and completion required within 4 years of hire

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) licensure authorized in the state of Michigan.
