Description:

Additional RN needed to help in the ambulatory setting. Job will include triaging phone calls as well as patient education within the cardiology department during office visits. Work directly with provider to help ensure patients are educated on upcoming testing or procedures and aid in the scheduling of these.

Position Summary:

A variety of shared responsibilities in a busy cardiology practice. Utilizes nursing assessment skills and clinical protocol guidelines in a decision making capacity to provide timely and efficient patient care.

What a Registered Nurse, RN you will do:

  • Performs treadmill and pharma stress testing

  • Cardiac nuclear stress testing

  • Telephone triage

  • Medication Refill

  • New consult evaluation

  • Patient education

  • Performs clerical functions, all functions of a Medical Assistant, and environmental duties to support team objectives

What Registered Nurse, RN’s you need:

  • Graduation from a NLN or AACN accredited school of nursing

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) licensure authorized in the state of Michigan.

  • ​BCLS Certified.

  • One (1) year clinical experience in the acute care, ambulatory, or specialty setting.
