Non-CDL Truck Driver Job Opportunity

Peregrine Wood Products is seeking a reliable and personable Non-CDL Truck Driver to join our team.   In this position, you will ernsure the safe and timely delivery of our pallets and crating to our customers. You will be responsible for operating company vehicles, supporting delivery schedules, and upholding the our standards of safety and professionalism.  Our customers expect their goods to arrive within a specific time frame, so you must be able to work independently and manage your time well.

This position is offered on either a part-time and full-time basis.  It is perfect for a retired driver looking for supplemental income.  We offer competitive pay, benefits, and opportunities for growth (if interested) within the company. Job Responsibilities

• Safely operate non-CDL flat beds and box trucks to deliver pallets and crating to designated locations
• Deliver or pick up items as instructed, on a predetermined route and schedule
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the safety and proper functioning of the vehicle
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to provide delivery updates and address any issues
• Confirm bill of lading accuracy
• Uphold a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers and representing the company
• Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience as a commercial driver preferred
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a professional appearance
• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and inspection procedures
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Work Hours and Benefits

• Part-Time and Full-Time positions available
• Day Shift: 9:00am -- 6:00pm
• Monday -- Friday.
• Wage Range: $15.00 - $17.00 based on experience.
