Job Duties: Candidate will work in performing geotechnical field investigations, calculations and have strong technical writing skills when preparing geotechnical reports. Geotechnical reports require an understanding of ASTM and USDA soil classification procedures and technical interpretation of field data. The geotechnical report will provide project specific construction recommendations for earthwork, foundations, and site preparations. Other job duties will include producing civil grading plans, utilities designs, retaining wall design, septic design, and detail drawing sheets for submittals to review agencies. Assist clients to submit permit forms for septic systems, grading plans, and coordinate with appropriate agencies for approval. This position requires local job visits once or twice per week with occasional overnight travel within the state of Idaho. The local job sites will include the cities of Boise, McCall, and Twin Falls, Idaho.

Requirements: Bachelors degree in civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
