Chervon North America Amazon Sales Specialist in Naperville, Illinois

Summary of Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Key Account Manager for Amazon, this position is accountable for providing administrative and account functions that support all Chervon activities on Amazon.

Key Job Responsibilities: 

  • Support all activities on Amazon regarding Chervon or Amazon promotions.

  • New item set up on Amazon, working with the E-commerce team to acquire the right content and digital assets to maintain A+ Premium content standards.

  • Processing purchase orders from Amazon and G10, including working with finance and operations to insure adequate inventory, timely shipments, and fast payments.

  • Assisting in the production of reports for management on Amazon activities, including sales performance, forecasting, inventory, and other key metrics.

  • Researching competitive activity on Amazon.

  • Monitoring intellectual property rights on Amazon by finding, reporting, and recommending action to Amazon and Chervon legal regarding counterfeit batteries, unauthorized use of images and copy, etc.

  • Developing relationships with key Amazon personnel in OPE, Hazmat and Power Tools areas to facilitate smooth operations of the account.

  • Coordinating meetings between Chervon and Amazon, including agenda, format, and logistics.

  • Coordinate with the Amazon Back End Account Management (BEAM) team in Nanjing on all promotions, budgets, and analysis needs.

  • Attention to detail – this position requires the highest level of accuracy in processing data, reporting, and producing content for Amazon

  • Strong interpersonal skills – this position works cross-functionally within Chervon

  • Computer skills

  • Analytical ability to identify and solve problems

    Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, or 2-3 years of work experience in ecommerce

  • Previous experience at a company selling on Amazon preferred

  • Working knowledge of online business fundamentals

  • Demonstrated experience and productivity in a fast-paced environment

  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint

    Supervisory Responsibility:

    This position is not responsible for supervising other employees.    

    Travel:

    This position may require occasional travel (up to 10%) for meetings with Amazon.

    Work Environment:

    This job operates in a professional office environment and is flexible with our team member’s work life balance. We are in-person at our Naperville, IL office a minimum of 3 days a week.
