Description We are looking for a Desktop Support Analyst to join our team in NAPERVILLE, Illinois. As part of the IT team, you will be pivotal in managing and maintaining all level 1 tasks, including but not limited to, asset management, imaging, and hardware support. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Managing and maintaining all level 1 tasks, including asset management, imaging, and hardware support.

• Imaging computers, staging equipment, working in the ITSM tool, adding and removing users into Azure AD.

• Troubleshooting on end user equipment and resolving customer inquiries.

• Overseeing asset management, including inventory assessments, forecasting, inventory tracking, and retrieval of equipment from departed employees.

• Configuring mobile phones and managing Apple Business Manager.

• Cleaning incoming equipment and storing it appropriately.

• Utilizing ITSM tools for asset inventory management.

• Leveraging skills in Computer Hardware, Active Directory, Apple Devices, Backup Technologies, Configuration Management, Desktop Support, Desktop Imaging, Computer Imaging, and Asset Inventory.

• Collaborating with a team of 3, with an upcoming addition of a network engineer.

• Providing hands-on IT support and employing knowledge of MAC, O365 and troubleshooting basic level 1 tickets. Requirements • Proven experience in a Desktop Support Analyst role or similar

• Advanced knowledge of computer hardware systems and their components

• Proficiency in using and managing Active Directory

• Experience in supporting Apple devices

• Familiarity with backup technologies and their application

• Knowledge of configuration management and its implementation

• Proven ability in providing desktop support to various users

• Experience in desktop imaging and computer imaging processes

• Proficiency in maintaining an accurate asset inventory

• Familiarity with ITSM tools and their usage

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong communication skills

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team as well as independently

• Relevant certifications or education in IT or related field are preferred
