NomNom 1st Shift - Production Associate in Nashville, Tennessee

PRODUCTION ASSOCIATE - 1ST SHIFT

At Nom Nom the future is fresh and we are looking for Production Associates that will help us ensure that every meal we send to our customers is safe and of excellent quality. We look for individuals who want to bring their best selves and who will challenge one another to grow together. We have two locations in the Bordeaux and Whites Creek areas of Nashville. We have various positions and shifts available, with pay starting at $19.00/hour. (Inventory Associates Only - additional $1/hour for forklift certification).

Our Kitchen Associates are batching and mixing our recipes. (Monday through Thursday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM) *

Our Bagging Associates are doing just as it says! They’re bagging our product and getting it ready to deliver. (Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM) *

Our Placing Associates are bundling our food to ensure customers receive their meal packages based on daily consumption. (Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM) *

Our Fulfillment Associates complete the process by helping us get our food out the door! They pick, pack, and ship all of our subscription and retail orders. (Monday through Thursday, 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM) *

Our Inventory Associates are keeping accurate counts, managing product stock, and loading trucks. (Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM)*

Don’t worry, we have some cool protective gear to supply you, and we will reimburse you for footwear to make sure you are staying safe.

What are we looking for?

Education and Professional Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Forklift certification preferred (Inventory Associates Only).

Knowledge/Experience

  • Minimum of 1 year general manufacturing and/or warehouse experience.

  • Food manufacturing or machine operation experience is a plus.

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience operating stand-up or sit-down forklift machines (Inventory Associates Only).

  • * Must be flexible to work weekends, extended shifts, and other assigned shifts as needed.

  • Ability to work as a team member, communicating clearly with others, raising concerns, talking through ideas, and buying into final decisions.

  • Able to meet the physical requirements of the position requiring heavy lifting up to 100 lbs., pushing/pulling up to 500 lbs on pallet jacks, carrying tools and supplies, kneeling, stooping, climbing, and standing on feet for up to 6 hours continuously.

  • The departments are refrigerated at 35-50 degrees (0-50 degrees for inventory Associates). You must be able to work at this temperature for the entire shift.

  • Authorized to work in the United States.

Because our Associates are working in temperatures around 35-50 degrees (0-50 degrees for inventory associates), we recommend long pants, long sleeves, jackets, hoodies, ski caps, and thick socks to remain comfortable throughout the workday. We provide all safety equipment and require slip-resistant boots or steel-toe boots in some areas.
