Description
Our exciting client is seeking an Accounting Manager to join their team. This role is a contract employment opportunity in the accounting industry, with the flexibility of remote working. As an Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing client accounts, ensuring quality control, and fostering employee engagement.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee assigned client accounts, ensuring all financial activities are accurately and efficiently handled.
• Manage client interfacing, providing top-notch service and building strong relationships.
• Ensure quality control of all financial operations, maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and precision.
• Develop and implement metrics to track productivity and efficiency within the team.
• Foster employee engagement, promoting a positive work culture and enhancing employee relations.
• Oversee the work of the team, providing guidance, support, and feedback.
• Leverage your skills in accounting software systems to manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, financial statement preparation, account reconciliation, and journal entries.
• Conduct performance reviews, providing constructive feedback and identifying areas for improvement.
• Handle account records and balance sheet account reconciliation, ensuring all financial data is up-to-date and accurate.
Requirements
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
• Comprehensive understanding of Accounting Functions
• Public accounting experience would be greatly beneficial
• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Skills in Financial Statement Preparation
• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation and Account Records maintenance
• Ability to make accurate Journal Entries and Adjusting Journal Entries
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent problem-solving abilities
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Knowledge of financial regulations and legislation.
